Welcome to Call to Decision Call
to Decision Ministries 224 Hurd Road Nettie, West Virginia 26681 Phone: (304) 846-4448 ~ FAX: (304)
846-4403 ~ E-mail: ctdm@hotmail.com February 5, 2007 Dear Governor Manchin, Sir, numerous times I have written to you imploring you to
hear our sincere concerns about the Real ID Act. Please, Mr. Manchin, grant us a hearing to consider taking the
stand that only you can. This Trojan Horse tyrannical “power grab”
is intended to bring in the national registration of all citizens of
this country. Sir, please accept what I am about to say in the sincere
Christian spirit that it is written.
Other states are taking strong measures in not allowing their
citizens to be brought under “more” federal control!
States’ rights are all but gone!
If our local and state representatives will not protect our
God-given rights, then it is up to each “sovereign” citizen to make
his own decisions to stop this tyranny. Governor, we need your help! Montana is going to be the first state to “outlaw” the
Real ID Act, with other states like Maine, New Hampshire, Georgia and
others to follow. Representative
Brady Wiseman will be on my radio broadcast on the 9th of
February discussing how and why they are stopping the “feds” from
controlling their state’s citizens.
Congressman Ron Paul from Texas, who will be announcing his
intended bid for the Republican nomination for President in 2008, will
be on our program on the 8th of February discussing in part
the Real ID Act. Our legislators in West Virginia either do not have the time
or are not concerned enough to address this issue, so sir, we are coming
to you! You, Governor
Manchin, can stop this
travesty of justice before it is too late. I and thousands of others are going to stand on our sincere convictions.
Please, in the name of the Holy God, we beg you to help us!
We are absolutely certain that to accept the Real ID national ID
is against God’s will. We will serve God and
not accept the ID card. We
are prepared, if need be, to pay whatever price necessary to defend what
is left of our freedoms! Please
sir, don’t allow this to happen here in West Virginia! The last thing we want as true Christians is a confrontation with
civil authorities, but as our forefathers before us, we are ready and willing to do so.
As Benjamin Franklin said, that so well pertains to this issue,
“They that can give up essential liberty to obtain a little temporary
safety deserve neither liberty nor safety”. As you have surely noticed, this letter came from an attorney
that we have asked to help us in this matter.
Mr. Manchin, with this letter, I sincerely feel that we have
humbly implored your assistance far beyond what should be expected by
any reasonable man. Rest
assured sir, that we will not stop until we have stopped this grievous act and insult to
our integrity! Indeed sir,
integrity itself will not permit us to do so! Will you meet with us to come to acceptable terms or will you
remain silent until it is too late?
The state and a righteous God await your answer. In Christ’s service, Pastor Butch Paugh
