On
January 15, 2008, at a revocation hearing in Iowa City, Iowa Judge
Karen Egerton ordered sheriff’s deputies to take Donna Holman to
jail. Egerton ordered Donna Holman to get a psychiatric evaluation,
and follow psychiatric advice (i.e. take prescribed drugs).
Over
40 supporters came to Iowa City in support of Donna Holman, many
more wrote this judge on Donna’s behalf. Those in attendance were
outraged as Donna Holman was handcuffed and escorted out of the
courtroom. The judge read from a back issue of Missionaries to the
Pre-born Iowa newsletter that Donna was refusing probation. The MTP
newsletter was not part of the court record.

3
supporters were arrested or cited for “blocking the sidewalk”
when 2 fe-he-male police officers arrested them on the public
sidewalk. These were the same 2 cops who framed Donna Holman at
Planned Parenthood. Adrian Horien and Ron Teller were randomly
selected for bogus charges of “Blocking the Sidewalk” citations.
Later, Bob Braun was arrested for purportedly blocking the sidewalk.
He was taken to the county jail with additional bogus charges of
resisting arrest. An anti-abortion sign was stolen by a male officer
working with these fe-he-male cops.
The
group marched to the jail where Donna Holman was being processed. We
set up our signs where the female prisoners could see them out the
windows of their pods. Many of the prisoners waved at us as we
chanted “Life yes, abortion no, let Donna Holman go!” We
also went to the front of the jail where male inmates were being
kept. We were greeted with enthusiastic waves from the prisoners.

At
11:00 a.m. we split into 2 teams. One team covered the 4 corners of
the busy intersection 2 blocks north of the courthouse. Courthouse
employees had to pass aborted baby pictures as they went to lunch.
Another team set up signs and banners on 2 pedestrian walkways over
Iowa City’s busiest intersection.

After
the group broke for lunch they returned to the courthouse to
confront the courthouse employees with pictures of aborted babies as
they were leaving for home.
