This seems to happen over and over again: A major player in the

homosexual movement turns out to be a child molester, or involved with child

pornography, or some kind of sex offender. His colleagues don't seem to see what

the fuss is, but he resigns anyway.

Bill Berggren - the head of fundraising for "Gay Pride Week", is also the

associate publisher of the homosexual newspaper "InNewsWeekly". And also (why

doesn't this surprise us) it turns out he's a convicted sex offender.

Berggren has quite a history, it turns out. He's been convicted on child

pornography possession charges, he pled guilty to indecent assault against a

19-year-old, was found guilty of showing pornography to six teenagers, and was

found guilty of providing alcohol to a minor.

(MassResistance had actually found out some of this several weeks ago, and the

story was publicly broken by a local "alternative" newspaper as we were about to

release it.)

Berggren told the "Weekly Dig" newspaper that the Boston Pride Committee knew

about his criminal record and feels it's not an issue. "Everything I am doing is

18-plus events," he told the newspaper. "They know who I am, they know what I've

done, And they appreciate my work." The newspaper added that interviews with

former and current Pride volunteers made it clear that the organization doesn't

consider Berggren's sex-offender status an issue.

Would normal people find this to be a problem? This really shows the mentality

of the "gay" movement.

But nevertheless, Berggren finally felt the need to resign from the Pride

committee, for appearances' sake, although he's still with the homosexual

newspaper.

And by the way, Boston's other homosexual newspaper, Bay Windows, reportedly

knew about Berggren's record for years, but had declined to report on it. Only

the news that's fit to print, we guess.

One more thing: The Weekly Dig now reports that "Boston Pride

has contracted with the Human Rights Campaign to run criminal offender record

information (CORI) and sex-offender record information (SORI) checks on all

volunteers working in family areas." Well, it's about time, but the problem is

unfortunately a lot deeper than that.

Although with your calls and emails we were able to persuade Gov. Deval

Patrick to stay away from the homosexual "Youth Pride" day event last month

(after his staff had "assured" everyone that he'd be there), it looks like he

still doesn't quite get it. This time, not even the involvement of a convicted

sex offender (involving child pornography) seems to make a difference.

Thursday afternoon the Boston Globe called the MassResistance office and asked

for our reaction to Gov. Patrick's plans to march in Saturday's "Gay Pride

Parade", an event with a long history of depraved activity. We told the reporter

that from topless women engaging in sexual gyrations to cross-dressing men to

tossing condoms on the onlookers, the yearly "Gay Pride Parade" is a magnet for

very disturbed people. For a governor to take part in it is an embarrassment and

humiliation to everyone. If this is his payoff for the homosexual lobby's

fundraising and election support, it's unquestionably the lowest form politics.

TAKE ACTION: The parade is this Saturday,

June 9. CALL the Governor's office and demand that he not offend and insult

his constituents, and remind him that he will thus be officially connected

to everything that happens there that day!

It's truly frightening watching this formerly solid "pro-family" state

representative sell his soul (and his constituents' children) to the homosexual

movement. In our last email, we described how Rep. Donato Rep. Donato personally

called our office back in March and told us that "fully supports" the Parents

Rights Bill, "and will speak positively for it." Then a few days later Donato's

office contacted Sen. Hedlund's office and requested that he be named a

co-sponsor.

But this week, following several days of heavy pressure by homosexual activists,

he did a complete turnaround. He told MassResistance that he's renouncing his

co-sponsorship of the bill and that he now supports homosexual programs in the

schools, in all grades, and does not believe that parents should be able to

control what their children are exposed to. It is quite unbelievable to hear

these words come out of his mouth.

Donato has also been telling parents who call him that since four out of the six

school principals (!) in his district are openly homosexual, these programs need

to be taught in the schools.

There have been strong rumors that the homosexual lobby now has someone willing

to run against Donato in the next election. That news only seems to have

strengthened Donato's resolve to support their interests in the public schools.

In other words, selling out your children for his political career.

In our last email we reported that the homosexual activist group

"KnowThyNeighbor" had attempted to persuade legislators of the absurd idea that

Brian Camenker of MassResistance is a "Holocaust denier" because of his

testimony in support of the Parents Rights Bill (S321). The bill - widely

supported across Massachusetts - would essentially cripple the ability of

homosexual activists to proselytize children in the public schools without

parents' knowledge and consent. Camenker (who is Jewish) testified that, among

other things, attempting to inject homosexuality into teaching of the Holocaust

greatly distorted what actually happened, a view also shared by many Holocaust

survivors and historians.

On Wednesday, the founder of KnowThyNeighbor, Tom Lang, phoned the

MassResistance office to brag that his group is "working on" the co-sponsors of

the Parents Rights Bill (S321) to get them to renounce their sponsorship.

KnowThyNeighbor" is made up of radical adult homosexual activists who are

clearly obsessed with kids in the public schools - and in pushing

homosexuality at them without interference from parents. The group's main

activists came and testified at the public hearing, and are clearly very enraged

that it is being considered.

As many people know, KnowThyNeighbor is the same group that published the names

of people who signed the Marriage Amendment in order to harass and intimidate as

many of them as possible. The group also disrupts pro-marriage events around the

state, showing up and screaming intimidating epithets.

They now claim to have persuaded several of our co-sponsors to renounce their

support. Would legislators actually put the interests of a radical group of

For just about all of Mitt Romney's term of Governor, Massachusetts Citizens

for Life (MCFL) was the leading critic of his pro-abortion statements and

actions. When the group suddenly became pro-Romney, it was revealed that they

had accepted a $15,000 donation from the Mittster. Then, on May 10, MCFL awarded

Gov. Romney their annual "political leadership award."

At MCFL's annual meeting tonight, pro-life activist John O'Gorman, a current

member of the MCFL Board of Directors, will be calling on members of the

organization to speak out about that incident and similar troubling issues

involving the groups actions (and non-actions).

Some people are saying that the pro-life movement in Massachusetts needs a

serious shape-up. Will it happen tonight?

The pre-trial hearing for Catholic activist Larry Cirignano, scheduled for

today (June 8), has been postponed until June 21. The hearing discuss motions,

witnesses, discovery, etc., and set actual trial date.

 

As we've been reporting, Larry is charged with assault and a civil rights

violation stemming from an outrageous staged fall by a member of the ACLU Board

of Directors during a pro-marriage rally in Worcester in December. Homosexual

activists were staging a screaming, vulgar disruption of the event.

Astonishingly, police are still deciding whether to charge Larry with a "hate

crime."

Currently, Larry is facing phony assault & battery, civil rights charges. Not

only could Larry be convicted of these, but they are also exploring whether to

It's hard to imagine any Republican candidate for president saying this, but

it's all in a day's double-speak for our ex-Governor. On one hand he says that

"every child needs a mother and father." Then he says that whatever "choice" the

adults want to make regarding children is fine with him. Can this man be trusted

to believe anything at all?
