Challenge to Hollywood By Darryl Eberhart, Editor of “Tackling the Tough Topics” www.tacklingthetoughtopics.net

May 5, 2006 I recently wrote two articles about two of my favorite movies: “King Arthur – Director’s Cut” (2004) by Jerry Bruckheimer, and “Kingdom of Heaven” (2005) by Ridley Scott. “King Arthur” has scenes that give us an example of the horrible torture that the Roman Catholic Church used against innocent people for many centuries. “Kingdom of Heaven” exposes the true history of the Roman Catholic crusades in the Holy Land: mentioning the fact that Roman Catholic Crusaders slaughtered men, women, and children en masse when they captured Jerusalem. “Kingdom of Heaven” also showed how religious leaders rationalized murder and mayhem with slogans like “It is God’s will! Indeed, organized religion – and especially the hierarchy of the Roman Catholic Church – has been one of the greatest purveyors of torture and religious genocide that the world has ever seen! Hollywood has given us some good documentaries and movies about the Jewish Holocaust that occurred in Europe during World War II. And that is a good thing – because we must remember the mistakes of history, or we will keep repeating them. However, Hollywood, for the most part, has failed to produce documentaries and movies dealing with some of the lesser known, but equally important, genocides. It has also failed, for the most part, to deal with some very important history surrounding World War II. Some folks in the “alternative media” and the so-called “patriot movement” tell us that “the Jews” totally control Hollywood. If that is true (which it is not), then Hollywood ought to have no problem producing some great documentaries and movies about the following, since the hierarchy of the Roman Catholic Church has been the greatest enemy to the Jews for the past 1600 plus years:
